Question: I have a newbie question. When sending out a postcard for people on thebirthday list, how do you know how to send them, if there's no mention onthe list. Like, do I send new ones and write on them, new ones and don'twrite on them, send in an envelope, used ones, etc. Any help would be appreciated.
Answer: In my opinion, a birthday postcard is a GIFT, and anyone should be thankfulfor it, no matter what it is of, what condition it is in, etc, etc. Ofcourse if you KNOW (presumably from the trading roster, or previous email)what they like, any nice gift giver would probably try to give what therecipient likes. If not, oh well...it is the thought that counts. Answering a question with a question (or three):1. Would you send someone a gift of a used item, rather than new?(Unless, perhaps, they collect antiques.)2. Would you hand someone an unwrapped birthday gift, saying youwanted to save on the cost of gift-wrap?3. Would you send someone a gift you knew was likely to be defacedin the mails (unless they had asked you to do so)?
