Anyone here own the "Nickel Tour" Postcard book??

Question:
Anyone here own the "Nickel Tour" Postcard book??If so, I'm researching dates of printing of some oldish Disneyland postcardsand need the years these were printed.. (no (c) dates on them, which is whyI'm asking)..

Answer: Here is the information that you requested.

According to my Nickel tour book, card 1-323 is called "Mickey InFantasyland" listed as card #0747. Mickey is standing on the left sideof the caste, next to the moat, if you where looking at the castle fromthe end of Main Street. This is on page 222 of the book.

On page 266 there is also card #0748 (1-323) called "It All started WithA Mouse" and shows Mickey standing in front of the castle at the end ofMain Street.

Card 1-290 is called "Enchanted Tiki Room" and states that it is the sameas cards #0310, #0818, and #0924.

The book also states that:

These cards where issued from 1965 thru 1969, using three differentpublishers for this series. The same views where often published by allthree companies, and some of the companies printed an additional group ofletters and numbers along with the regular series number. Then, justwhen you think you've got it all figured out, you realize that the samenumber may appear on several different views.

1-xxx are from the H.S. Crocker Company 1-xxx SCxxx are from Mike Roberts Color Productions (The letters "SC" actually denote "small card") 1-xxx DTxxxxxC are from Dexter Press

Many cards in this series have a "W" after the number, signifying a cardwas designed by the folks at WED Enterprises.

Hope that helps
