Question on Postcard Dimensions

Question:
I need to do the following with Word 6 if possible:

1.) Print the same activities schedule onto postcard-type paper - thispaper comes in 8.5" by 11" sheets which contain four 4.25" by 5.5"postcards. (I can feed the paper straight through my laser printer.) Inessence, the activities schedule would be printed 4 times on the same 8.5"by 11" sheet of paper in a landscape orientation.

How do I create the document? Do I create one document with the postcarddimensions and then somehow copy it into the four sections of the 8.5" by11" paper. (One complicating factor is that the activities schedule iscomposed of a single column heading with the schedule in two columnsbeneath it.) I see formatting the 8.5 by 11 in a landscape orientationwith a column down the middle - I'd then paste the postcard document twicein both columns but then I'd have columns within columns - is this doable? Can I somehow copy the postcard document as an image instead into the 4areas? As you can see, I'm not sure how to handle this.

2.) Turn the paper over and then do a merge to print different addresseson the other side. Is it possible to have 4 different addresses printed in4 different places before the sheet gets processed through the printer orwould I have to somehow create documents beforehand with the addresses inthe proper place and then print these documents out?

Any guidance would be very much appreciated.

Answer: The best way to do it is to select the landscape orientation andinsert a Table (four columns, four rows). The formatting ofshould be adjusted to fit the card size on the page. Then, merge twoleftmost cells in the first row to create space for heading. Repeatthe merging for leftmost cells in row 3 and rightmost cells in rows 1and 3. At this stage, you should have four identical structures, containing 3 cells each: one wide one on top of two narrower onesunderneath it. Fill the cells in the left upper corner with therequired info and format it the way you like. Then selects these cellsand copy them to the remaining empty areas. Done.
