Question: My aunt received a postcard with a rate code. The post card also had a"pin number" highlighted above her name and address. She has no plans ofusing it. Would I be able to use her code and pin for my ressies?? She hasoffered it to me.
Answer: No, you would not. PIN=Personal Identification Code. As the name suggests, these are personalized offers and are non-transferable, and that should bestated somewhere on the card. While the official answer may be no, it certainly wouldn't hurt totry! All they can do is tell you no. If your surname is the same as youraunt's though, you've got a really good chance of arguing the point. I can assure the original poster that, despite the responses above, you willindeed be wasting both your time and your dime. The postcard has a PIN code on it (PIN=Personal Identification Number). Thecards are personalized to specific guests, and the PIN (which is required tobook) brings up the exact name and address of the specific guest in thecomputer. This is the ONLY name/address that the room can be booked in, andthis guest MUST be the person who checks in.
