Question:
Will Google contact the business beyond the postcard?I have yet to actually approach any businesses yet, I plan to start onFriday, but I have a question.

Is it fair to tell them that Google will not be contacting them tosolicit other services (other than the follow-up postcard)? I cananticipate some people being nervous about receiving follow up callsand literature that they do not want.

Similar to the idea that once you give out your email address tocertain companies you start getting spammed.

When you visit a business, youshould tell them to expect a postcard from Google asking them toverify the information you've collected. If the business prefers notto be contacted by Google in the future, they can email lbr-busin...@google.com to let us know.Hope that helps!
